Camino Primitivo Stage 1: Oviedo to Grado
13 June 2025. Oviedo to Grado. 26km/16mi. 6 hours of up-down-VIEW-cows-up-VIEW-up-horses-down and now at resting for the night. Camino Primitivo starts… now!
Two days after leaving Seattle I have arrived in Oviedo, the start of the Camino Primitivo! This evening, I toured the Catedral de Oviedo after picking up my credential and shell. Tomorrow I will put on my backpack and begin walking the 200 miles to Santiago de Compostela. I’m ready.
